my first camping trip ⛺️


Hey Reader,

This weekend, I'm going on my first camping trip since my dad passed.

He did everything for our trips, and I got to show up and just... camp.

This time, I'm the one doing most of the hauling, packing, driving, and set up. But don’t worry, Anthony is in training mode 😂, and I'm realizing, yet again, just how much my dad did so we didn't have to.

And even though I have shopping lists and packing lists and pre-flight checklists on repeat in my head, there’s one thing I’m not too worried about…

And that’s being physically able to do it.

Not because it isn't a lot, but because I trust my body to get me there.

There might be a hike. There might not (I’m perfectly content either way).

My body gets to take me there.

And that’s not something I take lightly.

This is what all of it is actually for. Every therapy ball roll out, workout, and mobility exercise is not for fitness goals that sound good on paper or aesthetics.

It's the trip you can show up for fully.

The morning you don't have to think twice about.

The moment your body just... carries you there without complaint.
